Alexandrah Walker is an enrolled member of the Sac and Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa (Meskwaki Nation). Alexandrah grew up on the Meskwaki Settlement in Tama, Iowa before moving to Minneapolis in 2015. In the spring of 2019, Alexandrah graduated from the University of Minnesota with her Bachelor of Arts in American Indian Studies. Before joining Hogen Adams, Alexandrah was a Citizen’s League Capitol Pathways Intern at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, a Servant Leader Intern for Children’s Defense Fund American Indian Freedom School, and a Reading Coach through the Division of Indian Work at Anishinabe Academy.
Alexandrah plays baaga’adowewin (traditional wooden stick lacrosse) with Twin Cities Native Lacrosse and enjoys time with her husband Christopher and their boxer Cleopatra and cat Elijah.
